Bluebird Care is delighted to announce that in its first inspection CQC gave the highest possible rating of ‘Outstanding’ for its service being well-led.
The CQC are an independent regulator of health and social care services in England who monitor, inspect and regulate services to make sure they are meeting fundamental standards of quality and safety.
Bluebird Care Mendip received an overall rating of Good, following the inspection which took place on November 16 and 17 2016. The services delivered were rated ‘Good’ in the four areas of being safe, effective, caring and responsive.
Customers and staff were interviewed by the inspector for their comments on what it is like to receive a service from us, and what it is like to work for us. Here is just some of the feedback received from our customers:
“I look forward to them coming in. It doesn’t seem to matter what may be happening in their lives they always make you feel good.”
“I have really taken to the girls who come to me. We are well matched and so I am very satisfied with everything about the service.”
“They send a schedule out every week. If anything changes they ring you.”
“It’s a very professional organisation starting from the top all the way down.”
Director of Bluebird Care Mendip, Masen Naidoo, commented: “We’re thrilled with our latest CQC report and are extremely proud of the high standards of care our team provides to our customers every day. We would like to thank everyone for their passion and commitment to delivering the very best homecare and support.”
